SurveyUSA's latest
South Carolina (PDF) poll confirms what we're seeing everywhere else -- this is one tight race. MoE 4%. (December results in parenthesis)
Dean 25 (21)
Clark 23 (20)
Edwards 17 (15)
Sharpton 12 (15)
Undecided 7 (7)
Gephardt 6 (10)
Lieberman 5 (5)
Braun 4 (4)
Kerry 2 (3)
Kucinich 1 (1)
It's actually a bit weird. We've seen in many places Clark's problems attracting female support. It's the reason so much stupid attention has been lavished on Clark's sweaters.
But in this poll, Dean gets 29 percent of the male vote, to Clark's 22, while Clark wins with the ladies, 23-18 over Dean (and Edwards in-between with 20 percent).
